Atlanta native William Green made his professional opera debut with the Atlanta Opera as Giuseppe in La Traviata and continues to sing with them in both secondary roles and the chorus. He made his Capitol City Opera debut as Pedrillo in The Abduction from the Seraglio; he has since joined the Capitol City Opera in their Dinner and a Diva and On the Light Side concert programs. Mr. Green most recently performed the role of the Barber in Capitol City Opera’s Man of La Mancha.
Mr. Green is a proud participant in the American Wagner Project through the Institute for Young Dramatic Voices. There, he works with both Luana DeVol and Dolora Zajick, as well as internationally renowned coaches who specialize in the dramatic repertoire.
Mr. Green has sung leading roles with the Opera de Perigueux, Stara Zagora State Opera, Capitol City Opera, and Stetson University. No stranger to the concert stage, he has sung with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Coro Vocati, Uncommon Practice, and continues to be in demand as both sacred music and concert soloist.
